The following is our list
of events for the day:
8:00 A.M.-Registration
The show will be held along both sides of north Main Street. You may
begin parking near the park next to the Wheatland Electric
and continue north on both sides of the street. Motorcycles will
park on in the center of the street.
10:00-12:00-Walking Poker Run. Entry fee-$5.00. Best hand
receives 40%, second best receives 20%.
Lunch served on
main street by local vendors.
2:00 & 7:00 P.M.-
Concert at the Historic Northrup Theatre. Sonny Burgess, country
western entertainer. Two outstanding Sonny Burgess songs are featured
in a just released DVD saluting the storied life of one of the greatest
professional rodeo athletes in history, Roy Cooper. Tickets are $15.00
and are available at the door. Check out sonnyburgess.com for more
information. One of his hits is, The More I'm Around Some People, The
More I Like My Dog. Car show helpers available to watch over your entry
during the concert.
3:30 P.M
(Approximately).- Car show concludes following the concert with the
presentation of prizes. There will be a 11 trophy plaques given with
the People’s Choice Award receiving the grand prize of a set of four
auto tires donated by the Syracuse Coop and Mr. Tire. (size 235/70/R15
slt.), and a plaque.
